Sonos lays off 200 forward of rumored set-top field launch | TechCrunch


Sonos announced that it has laid off 200 folks in a letter posted to its website Wednesday. The information follows a 100-person layoff in August. Each rounds arrive within the wake of a disastrously botched replace to the Sonos app that alienated broad swaths of the premium audio {hardware} agency’s extraordinarily loyal fanbase.

The brand new letter is penned by Tom Conrad, who was the primary CTO of Pandora and was named interim CEO after Patrick Spence stepped down from the chief govt function in January.
